Anthem is a large and innovative company based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. Its focus is on healthcare—mainly health insurance. However, they are present in many other fields of the healthcare profession. Melissa Serban told us more about what Anthem has to offer for potential new hires. Could you tell us a bit more about the positions you are currently looking to fill?
We have internal consulting internship opportunities for undergraduates who are juniors or seniors and for first year graduate students. Through Anthem internship opportunities, you will have the opportunity to lead and assist in various internal consulting roles. Our interns are paired with team “buddies” who help navigate the exciting landscape at Anthem, a Fortune 50 company. Our internship opportunities are available in various areas of the company, from operations to health care management to provider solutions to consumer centricity and marketing.
Anthem is always looking for top talent with well-rounded educational backgrounds and experiences including strong interpersonal skills. We are looking for people that live our values of Accountable, Caring, Easy-to-do Business With, Innovative and Trustworthy. Our interns have exposure to all levels of management often working on cross-departmental projects and creating and implementing strategies that help the enterprise reach its goal of ensuring our consumers have access to quality, affordable health care. Our graduate interns will also facilitate Leadership Panel Q&As with members of our Senior and Executive Leadership Teams. Similarly, our undergraduate interns will participate in the Leadership Q&As and work in project work-streams.
These positions are designed to groom talented candidates who wish to become high performing members of the Business Improvement Group (BIG) team at Anthem.
