Event Recap: Health Career Exploration Fair 2012

Last Friday the Health Career Exploration Fair took place in the SPEA Atrium and The Kelley School of Business bringing in Health professionals to speak to students. The event was co-sponsored by Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs and the School of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation. Students came to listen to panelists about what it takes to work in the growing field of healthcare.

The fair was divided into three sections:

  •  Health in Non-profits
  •  Health in the Public Sector, Policy, and Advocacy
  • Health in Education, Sales, and Hospitals

Panelists included people from various places including:

  • Planned Parenthood
  • American Cancer Society
  • Indiana State Department of Health
  • IU Health Bloomington Hospital
  • Ruth Lily Center
